More than 50 students from North Whitfield Middle School joined Tandus Flooring for lunch and tours as an extension of the company's Earth Week celebration. The students enjoyed pizza while learning about the company's sustainablity efforts. Then the group toured the Environmental Center, the world's first third party-certifed reclaimation center, and the Finishing Plant. Each student contributed to the more than 10 million pounds of flooring recycled by Tandus Flooring's annually by throwing in a peice of reclaimed flooring into the "chopper".
